MAC Sheen supreme Lipglass Tint in Blushing Berry, a amazing mid-tone red
GURL, I’ve been team MAC Lipglass considering that 1998! — ever considering that that first tube of Spite found its way into my purse.
That’s a lot of lipgloss lovin’. In fact, it’s the longest relationship I’ve ever had with a gloss.

And because we have all this history together, it’s easy for me to see the good points when it pertains to the Sheen supreme Lipglass Tints ($20) from the Moody Blooms collection.
They have a few things in common with the O.G. Lipglasses, like a thick, non-drying formula and a mirror-like shine, but there are some differences. I’d say they’re a lot more like cousins than sisters.

First, there’s the packaging. The Sheen Supremes come in a pen with a brush idea (as opposed to a regular tube with a doe-foot)…

Fun to use! I feel like I’m in art class whenever I use these to paint my lips with gloss.

And then there’s the stickiness, and how these don’t feel quite as sticky as regular Lipglasses do to me. maybe as a result, they don’t last quite as long. I get about three hours of wear from them, which still isn’t bad.

There’s just one a lot more thing… The flavor. These taste kind of funky to me.
They lured me in with a yummy vanilla fragrance — same as the original Lipglasses — but they don’t taste the same. I discover notes of plastic that I don’t particularly like.

I can’t recall what other Sheen supreme Lipglasses from previous collections tasted like, but these? Not my favorite.
I thought it might be caused by the brush idea changing the flavor, so I tried applying them from the back of my hand using a lip brush.
Nope…still tasted it.

Sigh… If it wasn’t for that, I’d be wearing these 24/7. I think they’re incredibly pretty, especially the lighter shades — warm pink Bubble Gum and amazing mauve simply Wow.

I don’t know what I did to upset the boss, but Tabs has deemed it needed to keep me under closer supervision than normal this week.
His new favorite thing is to crawl all over my desk while I’m working. He sits on my keyboard, knocks pens onto the floor, blocks my view of the screen and normally causes mayhem.
I tried to stop him for a while, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s just no use. even when I set him on the floor, he just jumps ideal back up again and resumes his shenanigans.
I’ve conceded the lower left-hand corner of the desk to him. If I set a towel there, he curls up and takes a nap.
